Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group is a new niche marketing venture supported by VisitScotland. Hotscot was the developer of choice for this project because of our experience in tourism and the outdoors. The brief was to design and build a website that would serve the dual purpose of promoting country sports to visitors to Scotland and also advertising members' businesses that provided key services and facilities.

Web 2.0 design techniques were utilised to create focus areas on the home page for various user groups, as well as a map based search interface for individual members business listings, with the facility for special promotional offers to be highlighted.
