Established in 1994, the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust (HWDT) is a registered charity based on the Isle of Mull that has pioneered practical, locally-based education and monitoring programmes on cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) in the Hebrides.

Hotscot designed and built the original site for HWDT in 2004, but increasing demands to display more and more information on the website required the deployment of a modern fully featured Content Management System to enable HWDT staff to maintain the site more easily.

The new site utilises Web 2.0 design principles to make the display of key information more user friendly within an easy to follow site navigation.
