Suzanne here with the HotScot newsletter.  Well, all the survey results are in and, I must say, what an interesting and insightful experience it has been!  We thought you'd like to know the key outcomes and subsequent decisions we have made to make the HotScot experience an even better one for you.
What You Said and What We've Done!
A quick and to the point summary of the key outcomes of our two surveys and what we're doing to address them:
 
Customer Referral
  • You said £50 off your next bill or 1 hour's free work on your website are your favourite options as an incentive for referring customers
  • We're now offering both options for you to choose from when referring customers
  • We've created an online form to make referring customers easy which can be accessed here.
After Sales Customer Service
  • You said we need to work on providing better after sales service
  • We're now going to contact customers on the day of a new website/ product launch, between 1 week to 1 month after and 12 months after
  • You said you prefer contact by telephone so that's what we'll do whenever appropriate.  If we can't reach you we'll use email as a back-up

Support

  • You said that 10 minutes of support time per month was enough
  • You don't think we should offer an out of hours telephone support service
  • Some customers were interested in support packages
  • We've now put together 3 support options the details of which can be accessed here

Internet Marketing/ Lunch Time Seminars

  • There was a great deal of interest for internet marketing and people were looking for prices for these services
  • We're now working closely with our partners Source Scotland to provide new packages which we will be emailing you about over the next few weeks
  • We're planning to run some seminars in the new year and will be in touch nearer the time to tell you all about them

Newsletter

  • You told us you like our newsletters but they're not always relevant to your business
  • We've re-vamped our newsletter schedule to make them more general but we're supporting them with customer specific product spotlights
